There is a death investigation underway in Laurel County after a woman was found deceased in a burned structure.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said arson investigators and detectives were dispatched Saturday afternoon at approximately 2:30 to Cassidy Road in Keavy, approximately nine miles southwest of London.
Investigators were dispatched to the scene after the body of 58-year-old Debra Kay Moore was discovered inside her burned residence.
Moore’s cause of death has not been released.
The death investigation is ongoing.
