Flossie June White Mercer, 92, of Rockfield passed away Sept. 8, 2025 at her home.
The Edmonson County native was a homemaker, a Fruit of the Loom employee, co-owner of Fashion Cleaners in Bowling Green and a member of United Calvary Baptist Church in Bowling Green. She was a daughter of the late Luster “Lus” White and Verda Alice Miller White and the wife of the late James Richard Mercer. She was preceded in death by a son, Harry Alan Mercer; a daughter, Melissa Susan Mercer; two brothers, Avery White and Jack White; and a sister, Genevieve Ausbrooks.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will take place 2:00-7:00 PM Friday and after 9:00 AM Saturday.
Surviving are two sons, Michael Lynn Crowe and Billy Joe Mercer (Linda) both of Richardsville; two daughters, Roverda Kay White (David) of Norwood, OH and Cecilia Darlene Reynolds (John) of Rockfield; a sister, Sue Fields (Nyle) of Bowling Green; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
