A Hardin County girl has now been missing for over five years.

Rosalyn Velazquez has not been seen since August 2020.

“Rosalyn was 15-years-old when she went missing from Radcliff on August 24, 2020. She left her apartment around 1 a.m. wearing a blue jacket, but took no other belongings. She has no prior history of running away,” Kentucky State Police said.

As K105 has previously reported, Rosalyn was last seen by her mother at Azalea Park apartments, adjacent to North Hardin High School, between Hwy 31-W and the Joe Prather Highway, at approximately 2:30 the morning of August 24. She was wearing a blue jacket with a “crest on the right front,” according to police.

A $10,000 reward is being offered by the Radcliff Police Department for information leading to the return of Rosalyn. A Facebook page, Bring Rosalyn Home, has been set up by the family to help publicize the disappearance of Rosalyn.

She is described as a “Hispanic/white mix” with curly black hair and brown eyes. She stands about five feet tall and weighs 140 pounds. She may wear glasses.

Rosalyn’s disappearance was featured in the crime section of PEOPLE magazine in April 2021 where her mother, Sabrina Boozel, told the magazine: “My daughter did not take her charger. She did not take her ChapStick, which she never leaves home without, and she did not take her earbuds that go with her iPhone, which she never leaves without. She did not take any money, because she had no means to money. She didn’t take any extra clothes, backpack, anything.”

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Radcliff PD at 270-351-4714 or visit this National Center for Missing and Exploited Children: namus.gov/MissingPersons/Case#/77379.

Evelyn Blake still missing from Breckinridge Co.

Breckinridge County woman Evelyn Blake has been missing since July 21, 2024. She was last seen in the 4000 block of Old Railroad Road, about two miles south of McQuady and a few miles north of Falls of Rough in the Glen Dean area of the county.

“Evelyn suffers from early dementia and is developmentally disabled,” according to a family member who previously reached out to K105. Blake, according to her missing person poster, “has medical issues that may prevent her from returning safely.”
