A juvenile has died after rear-ending a semi-truck in Hart County.
Kentucky State Police said troopers responded to the accident Thursday morning at approximately 11:00 near the 66-mile marker of I-65.
State police said the investigation showed that a northbound 2020 Chrysler Pacifica, being driven by a juvenile, collided with the rear of a 2023 Kenworth semi, being driven by 59-year-old Jose Martinez-Monsivais.
The juvenile was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Hart County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing by KSP Det. Bo Hubbard.
