A Taylor County man has been arrested after stabbing his 72-year-old father.
The Campbellsville Police Department said officers arrested 37-year-old Terrence Miller on Monday morning at approximately 8:45 after he stabbed his father, 72-year-old Terry Miller, during a domestic dispute at a residence in the 500 block of Clem Haskins Boulevard, about 250 yards from Campbellsville Elementary School.
Fox56News.com reports that upon police arriving at the home, they found Terry Miller outside and bleeding from the leg.
Witnesses told police that the younger Miller chased his father out of the residence when the older Miller fell. Terrence Miller then stabbed his father in the leg and fled the scene.
The suspect was located a short time later and arrested. As he was being taken from the scene, Terrence Miller yelled at witnesses that he “will stab them once he gets out,” Fox56 News.com reports.
He was charged with first-degree assault (domestic violence) and two counts of third-degree terroristic threatening and lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
