Matthew Wayne Duvall, 59, of Sunfish passed away Sept. 30, 2025 at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center in Leitchfield.
The Edmonson County native was a retired tractor trailer driver. He was a son of the late James Duvall and Goldie Durbin Hardin of Brownsville, who survives. He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Duvall; three step brothers, Doug Hardin, Dewayne Hardin and Timmy Hardin; and a step sister, Cindy Mount.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will take place 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Kristian Carroll Duvall; two children, Morgan Shalee Duvall and Blake Wayne Ray Duvall both of Sunfish; two brothers, Mark Duvall of Bardstown and Troy Hardin (Sharon) of Brownsville; six sisters, Lori Hudson (James) of Brownsville, Debbie Masden (Tommy) of Bloomfield, Tonya Doan (David) of Sunfish, Crystal Hogan (Ronnie) of Big Sandy, TN, Crystal Hellard of Indiana and Regina Bartley (Jason) of Bardstown; step mother, Carolyn Lucas (Marshall) of Bardstown; and a step brother, Roger Hardin of Sunfish.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to help with funeral expenses.
