
Three people have died in a plane crash in Florida in an aircraft that took off from an airport in Washington County.
According to flightsafety.org, the Beechcraft 58P Baron crashed on approach at Williston Regional Airport in Williston, Florida, at approximately 4:10 Sunday afternoon.
All three occupants died in the crash.
The airplane departed Lebanon Springfield Airport-George Hoerter Field, about three miles south of Springfield, at 1:20 Sunday afternoon.
The plane was scheduled to take on fuel at Williston Regional Airport when it crashed in a field short of the runway.
The aircraft was owned by 424 Ventures LLC, a company based in St. Petersburg, Florida, according to the FAA. Williston is approximately 130 miles north of St. Petersburg.
The NTSB and FAA are investigating.
