A Hardin County woman has been arrested after allegedly applying alcohol to sunburns on two juveniles and striking the juveniles in their faces on multiple occasions.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Ashley Coulter-Boston, of West Point, on Monday after she, over a three-month period, assaulted two juveniles.
The suspect is accused of forcing the juveniles to take hot showers while they were “severely sunburned,” according to a report by The News-Enterprise, while holding one of the juveniles on the floor of the shower so he couldn’t get away.
She is also accused of applying alcohol to the sunburns, while biting one of the juveniles in the arm.
Coulter-Boston additionally allegedly obstructed one of the juveniles’ ability to breathe “to get him to be quiet.”
The offenses took place between early May and early August.
The suspect was charged with second-degree strangulation, fourth-degree assault (child abuse) and third-degree criminal abuse (victim 12 or younger). She was lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond.
