A pedestrian has been struck and killed in Meade County.
Kentucky State Police said the accident happened on Sunday morning at approximately 6:00 on Dixie Hwy (Hwy 31-W).
The state police investigation showed that 24-year-old Jordan Sanborn, of Louisville, was traveling north on Dixie Hwy when he struck 34-year-old Troy Jackson, also of Louisville.
Jackson was pronounced deceased at the scene. Sanborn was transported to Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown where he was treated for minor injuries, state police said.
KSP Det. Brad Holloman is leading the ongoing investigation.
