
A residential fire in Henderson has claimed the life of a 73-year-old man.
The fire occurred on Sunday night at approximately 11:45 in the 900 block of Millcreek Drive, according to WFIE.com.
Killed in the blaze was 73-year-old Joseph Hein.
Two other people in the home suffered injuries and were transported to a hospital. A Henderson police officer suffered smoke inhalation and was treated at a local hospital.
The cause of the fire has not been released.
The Kentucky State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the blaze.
