An elderly woman and her daughter have died in a house fire.
The Russellville Rural Fire Department responded to the blaze on Tuesday night at approximately 8:30 on 801 West 9th Street in Russellville, according to a report by WRUS.com.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Found deceased inside the residence were 87-year-old Helen Daniels and her daughter, 57-year-old Vickie Blackwell. Another person, Robert Blackwell, survived the fire.
The Kentucky State Fire Marshal’s Office is leading the investigation.
