A body has been pulled from the Ohio River near Louisville’s Waterfront Park.
The Louisville Metro Police Department River Unit along with other officers responded to the report of a body in the river at approximately 10:00 Monday morning, according to a report by WDRB.com.
The body, that of an adult, was located not far from the base of the Lincoln Bridge, near the shoreline. Police have not released information regarding the gender, age or race of the person.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the death investigation.
