A Leitchfield woman has been injured after hydroplaning in Breckinridge County.
The accident happened on Tuesday morning in the 7600 block of Hwy 401 at Constantine, according to a report by WXBC.com. The wreck occurred when a northbound vehicle, being driven by 23-year-old Teyja Newell, hydroplaned in rainy conditions as it left the roadway and struck a culvert, flipping the vehicle.
Newell was transported to Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown with a head injury.
The Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office, McDaniels, Custer and Harned Fire Departments along with EMS responded to the scene.
