Grayson County government “is taking steps to make you safer” by teaming with Hazcams.com to provide up to the minute weather-related information, according to Grayson County Judge-Executive Kevin Henderson.

Henderson made the timely announcement on Monday on his Facebook page.

“We have teamed up with Brett Adair at Hazcams (WxLogic) to provide weather monitoring system for Grayson County,” Hendeson said. “Our goal is to keep you prepared, informed, and safe as possible when severe weather moves in.”

Hazcams.com, according to its website, is “a comprehensive, all-in-one real-time monitoring solution designed for meteorologists, emergency management agencies, broadcasters, public safety officials, and more. Delivering low-latency video and data to provide timely, accurate information that helps keep the public informed during emergencies.”

Henderson’s announcement comes as the region is expected to receive multiple inches of snow beginning Monday night and into Tuesday morning.
