Rodric “Rod” Dale Brady, Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle went to be with his Savior and Lord, on Sunday, December 07, 2025 at 8:00am in Leitchfield, Kentucky of Parkinsons Multi System Atrophy.

Born in Alexandria, Louisiana on April 25, 1947, he passed at the age of 78 years old. He was a resident of Norco, Louisiana for 58 years.

Rod retired from Shell Oil, Norco after 30 years of service. He was an artist, a musician, movie fanatic and a Veteran of the United States Navy and all around Jack of all trades. You could always find Rod out in the yard gardening or in his shop with some sort of project. He got up every day determined to make at least one person smile that day. He treated everyone the same, with respect, no matter CEO or janitor, rich or poor.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years and 11 months, Earline Bergeron Brady and was a loving father to Rodric “Boo” D. Brady Jr (Donna) & Bridget Brady Bessette. He was the best PawPaw ever to Aalieyah, Aabryanah & Aavah Brady and Jaycee & Brynn Bessette, and the best great PawPaw to Aariellah. His sister, Barbara B. Mathews; in-laws Juanita Guerdy, Ed Bergeron (Maria), Debra Hinchman (Paul) & JoAnn Arcuri (Joey); and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and very dear friend and brother in Christ, Fr. Terry Becnel also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen and a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 4:00 pm on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (401 Spruce St, Norco, LA 70079) on Saturday, December 27 at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery will occur at a later date.
