Asa R. Howard, of Edmonton, was indicted by a Barren County Grand Jury on three counts of murder, first-degree assault and three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, according to a report by WBKO.com.
Glasgow police said the investigation showed that a 2016 Nissan Altima, being driven Howard, was traveling north on North Jackson Highway when the vehicle struck a 2017 Toyota Highlander, being driven by Timothy Houchens, of Glasgow, that was traveling east on Veterans Outer Loop.
“Immediately after the collision, Howard fled the scene on foot before returning to the scene of the accident and was manifestly under the influence of an intoxicating substance,” Glasgow police said in a press release.
Alcohol was found at the scene.
