Morgantown man identified as deceased male found on porch of Ohio Co. church

A man found deceased on the porch of an Ohio County church has been identified.

Phillip Morris, 62, of Morgantown, has been identified by the Ohio County Coroner’s Office as the victim. The coroner’s office told WFIE.com that Morris likely “suffered a heart attack, possibly caused by his overall health conditions and complicated by a sudden drop in temperature.”

As K105 reported Monday morning, Morris was found deceased on the porch of Green River Baptist Church, at Hwy 231 south in Cromwell, on Monday.

Morris, WFIE.com reports, was originally from Ohio County.
