A Boil Water Advisory issued by Leitchfield Utilities for a section of South Main Street in Leitchfield has been lifted.
Utilities officials said a water line repair on Tuesday caused “an interruption to water services for a short time.” When water service was restored, officials recommended boiling water at a rolling boil for three minutes before using in cooking or drinking.
Customers from 402 South Main Street to 520 South Main Street were impacted by the water service disruption and Boil Water Advisory.
