Lyndell Rayborn Stanton, age 88, of Clarkson, KY, passed away Friday, (January 16, 2026) at his home. He was born on January 31, 1937 in Millerstown, KY, the son of the late Harvey and Alberta
Wooden Stanton.

Lyndell was the owner and operator of Stanton Construction. He enjoyed gardening, beekeeping, and in his younger days, snagging at Kentucky Lake. He married the love of his life, Ina, on March 5, 1955. Together they enjoyed traveling, visiting 48 of the 50 states, and playing Triominos up until his last few days. He loved his family and enjoyed riding four-wheelers and playing croquet with his grandkids.

Most importantly he was saved as a 28 year old man and has been a member of Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church for 60 years.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ina Stanton of Clarkson; son, Kelvin Stanton (Cindy) of  Clarkson; daughter, Janine Vincent (Theran) of Clarkson; grandchildren, Amy Smith (Ryan), Jonathan Richards (Leanne), Matthew Richards (Lonni), Rebekah Lee (Jay), Josh Stanton (Traci), Daniel Richards (Cindy), Lindsey Hornback (Luke), and Samuel Vincent (Kierra); 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great- great grandchild; and a special caretaker, Leon Logsdon. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harvey Jr., Hartsel and Roma
Stanton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, (January 19, 2026) at Lone Oak Missionary
Baptist Church in Clarkson. Bro. Adam Jenkins and Bro. Phillip Knight and will be officiating.
Burial will be in the church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and from
9:00 a.m. Monday at Lone Oak Missionary Baptist Church until time of services.
