Cuba Lee Woosley, age 88, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (January 26, 2026) at her home. She was born on May 6, 1937 in Grayson Co., KY, the daughter of the late Marion and Thelon Basham Farris.
She was a housewife who enjoyed Bunco, family camping and bluegrass music and was a member of the Leitchfield First General Baptist Church and also attended the New Freedom Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Danny Woosley (Debbie) of Caneyville, KY, two daughters, Judy Downs (Rick) of Valley Station, KY and Marsha Downey (Bobby) of Brooks, KY, seven grandchildren, Jared and Jordon Downs, Robbie Downey, Leah Monks, Kacey Kitterman, Chelsea Bessinger and Candice Shubbuck, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Maxine Richards of Caneyville and Diane Tilford (Jerry) of Falls of
Rough. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, John, Oval and Marion Farris and one Sister, Aileen Cummings.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, (February 4, 2026) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bros. Buddy Brooks and Mickey Coates will be officiating. Burial will be in the Sanders Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
