A 95-year-old woman has died in a house fire in Barren County.
Barren County Coroner Tim Gibson told news outlets that firefighters responded on Tuesday night at about 7:45 to a blaze at 617 Bunch Road, approximately five miles north of Glasgow.
The body of Valeria Peden was found in the burned structure.
Her body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
The Barren Co. Sheriff’s Office and Barren Co. Coroner’s Office are leading the investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
No other details have been released.
