A Montgomery County woman has been arrested after receiving OxyContin hidden in LEGO pieces.
The incident began on February 5 when Department of Homeland Security intercepted a package at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport, according to a report by WAVE.com.
The package, which originated in Poland and contained 100 OxyContin pills stuffed into LEGO pieces, was addressed to 41-year-old Amber Back, of Mt. Sterling.
Law enforcement delivered the package to Back on February 6.
She was then detained and questioned where she told police that another person had the drugs delivered to her home. Police, though, searched her phone after receiving Back’s consent and found messages where she discussed “selling blue pills,” WAVE.com reports.
Police also discovered messages on Back’s phone indicating multiple drug deliveries have been made to her address.
Back was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and lodged in the Montgomery County Detention Center. She is no longer listed as an inmate.
