Marvin Leslie Patterson, age 70, of Caneyville, KY, passed on February 18, 2026. He was born on November 16, 1955 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to Marvin Stanley Patterson and Alice May Patterson.
Marvin is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years; Alice Marie Patterson, children, Holly (Scott) Milliner and Adam (Matilda) Patterson, grandchildren; Josh and Luke Milliner, Parker and Paisley Patterson, mother Alice May Patterson, sisters; Jeannie Lane, Lois Stilger, Joyce Sheffield, and Nancy Childress.
He was preceded in death by his father; Marvin Stanley Patterson, sister: Nancy Patterson, and brothers; Calvin and Eugene Patterson.
Marvin was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. Also, he was the owner of Ace Building systems. Marvin was a former board member of Grayson County Alliance Food Pantry. This organization was near and dear to his heart as he spent countless hours volunteering to serve the various needs of the food pantry.
During the spring and summer, he could be found working in the garden and sharing his produce with
those around him. He showed his love of the Lord by being of service to those around him. He was a member of the Cross Point Baptist Church in Leitchfield.
Services will be held at Cross Point Baptist Church on Tuesday February 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with Bro. Jerry Dunaway officiating.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Cross Point Baptist Church with the funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the New Hope Cemetery in Caneyville.
