Kentucky State Police is continuing its search for a missing Christian County woman not seen in over six weeks.
Emerald “Emmy” Raeann Forgette, 39, was last seen during the early morning hours of Sunday, January 11, 2026, near Hopkinsville Road in Nortonville, about 72 miles southwest of Leitchfield.
Forgette stands five feet, five inches tall. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
“Investigative leads remain limited at this time; however, troopers and detectives are utilizing multiple available resources in an effort to locate Ms. Forgette,” Kentucky State Police said.
Kentucky State Police is requesting continued assistance from the public by sharing official information to increase awareness, checking personal property including abandoned buildings, sheds, basements, vehicles, campers, and other structures where someone may seek shelter during cold weather, and reviewing security or trail camera footage.
“The public is reminded to be mindful of private property rights and to always obtain permission prior to entering or searching any property,” state police said.
