
A man has died in a house fire in Hardin County.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office said the fire occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 11:15 in the 50 block of Summitt Hill Baptist Church Road in Summit, just east of the Hardin/Grayson County line.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters located a deceased male inside the residence, according to the sheriff’s office.
The name of the decedent has not been released.
At this time, foul play is not suspected. The investigation, though, is ongoing and being led by the deputy State Fire Marshal and the Hardin County Coroner’s Office, the sheriff’s office said.
