Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has made the 2026 list of Best Places to Work in Kentucky, announced by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and Saint Joseph Health.
The competition is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in the commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.
“Numerous studies show a strong correlation between profitability and creating a good place to work,” according to the selecting organizations.
ECTC participates biennially and has earned four consecutive designations.
“What makes ECTC special is our people,” ECTC Vice President of Human Resources Whitney Taylor said. “Our faculty and staff care deeply about each other, our students and the communities we serve. We are committed to creating a workplace where talented people want to come, stay, and do their best work.”
The selection process, managed by Workforce Research Group, is based on an assessment of employee policies and procedures and the results of an employee survey. The Best Places to Work in Kentucky in 2026 includes 100 organizations. ECTC is among 25 medium-sized organizations with 150-499 employees to make the unranked list.
“It’s an honor to once again be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky,” ECTC President and CEO Dr. Juston Pate said. “Our mission is to add value to students’ lives and return that value to the community. ECTC truly is a special workplace with talented faculty and staff members who are focused on bringing that mission to life every day.”
The winners’ rankings will be announced at an awards dinner in June. To learn more about ECTC, visit elizabethtown.kctcs.edu.
