A man has been arrested for burglarizing a Breckinridge County childcare/preschool.
The Hardinsburg Police Department and Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Office recently conducted a joint investigation after a burglary at The Learning Academy Child Care and Preschool, at 525 Old State Road 60 in Hardinsburg.
On Thursday, police arrested 33-year-old Connor Mettling, of Louisville, at a home on Austin Drive in Hardinsburg. Mettling, according to WXBC.com, was charged with third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
He was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
A woman, 26-year-old Rebecca L. Macey, of Harned, was arrested at the same residence as Mettling and charged with hindering prosecution. She was also lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center.
