
Charles Carmon, age 70, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (March 23, 2026) at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, KY.
He was born on October 03, 1955 in Grayson County, KY, the son of the late Christopher “CC” and Edith Quiggins Carmon.
A veteran of the US Army, he worked as an Emergency Room Technician for both Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center and Hardin Memorial Hospital until his retirement. He enjoyed many things, including fishing, shooting guns, riding his four wheeler, listening to music, gardening, good food, and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Carmon Bratcher (Cameron) of Caneyville; two grandchildren, Zeb and Zak Bratcher, both of Caneyville; and his significant other, Charlotte Snell, and her children and grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved cats, also survive.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Edwards; and a brother, Vernie Carmon.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, (April 03, 2026) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Hudson Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
