
A Bardstown High School teacher has been arrested for allegedly having sexual contact with a student.
The Bardstown Police Department arrested 31-year-old Mary “Hanna” Mattingly and charged her with first-degree sexual abuse and procuring or promoting use of a minor by electronic means after an investigation discovered Mattingly “engaged in sexual contact with a high school student.”
The suspect also “had communication with the same student” where she sent the student “partially nude photographs …,” according to the Bardstown PD.
Mattingly was arrested on Monday morning and lodged in the Nelson County Detention Center.
