A Grayson County man, previously jailed for impersonating a police officer, has been arrested after being accused of assaulting a victim and again impersonating a police officer.
The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Zachary W. Behlke, of Caneyville, on Monday on the strength of a complaint warrant.
The warrant charges Behlke with impersonating a police officer, third-degree terroristic threatening and fourth-degree assault, according to the arrest citation.
The complaint warrant claims Behlke “intentionally hit a man in the back of the head with a closed fist. He then threaten(ed) to shoot the man and identified himself as a Bowling Green police officer.”
He was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center but is no longer listed as an inmate.
According to online records, Behlke was arrested in Warren County on February 23, 2026, for impersonating a police officer, improper use of blue lights, improper use of red lights, felony wanton endangerment, speeding 26 mph or more over the limit, and reckless driving.
He was also arrested in Grayson County in March 2025 and charged with third-degree terroristic threatening.
