A northern Kentucky serial rapist has been sentenced to decades in prison.
Paul Snow Jr., 44, of Verona, was sentenced to 70 years in prison in a Kenton County courtroom earlier this week, the maximum prison term allowed by law. He will be eligible for parole after serving 20 years.
“Despite the limit, prosecutors, the judge and the jury took to the record to recommend 356 years in the hope that the parole board considers the severity of his crimes when deliberating,” FOX19.com reports.
He was found guilty of 28 felony counts, including eight counts of sodomy, five counts of rape, five counts of felony wanton endangerment, two counts of human trafficking, and kidnapping after he committed a series of sexual assaults in Kenton County between 2014 and 2017.
Snow also faces charges in neighboring Gallatin County, including 21 counts of rape, sodomy, kidnapping, strangulation, assault, and terroristic threatening.
As K105 reported, Snow was originally arrested on April 22, 2023.
