At a meeting of the Munfordville Fire Department last week, over 15 firefighters walked out of the meeting after Mike Killebrew was named the interim fire chief, replacing Jackie Logsdon, who stepped down.

Since July, the Munfordville Fire Department has had three different fire chiefs, and four chiefs in the last three years, according to a report on WBKO.com.

In July, nine firefighters walked after former chief Ricky Adcock stepped down and Logsdon was appointed chief.

According to Munfordville Mayor John Freeman, the fire department currently has 18 firefighters on its roster.
