Not sure about you, but during the Spring, it seems that my taste buds change. I crave fresh fruit and light dishes that have the essence of Spring cooked right into them. Dishes that you can’t wait to get outside and eat with your family on the patio and just enjoy with the day’s end. A signature Spring dish for my home is BLT sandwiches. Something about the crisp bacon and crunchy veggies just feels right. But I am always looking for new things to try, especially after all the heavy meals that I have prepared this winter, so I did some research and wrote up a list of 9 great recipes that I am dying to try in this new season and wanted to share with them with you!

  • Strawberry Muffins: A delicious and fresh start to the morning. We love muffins at my house, especially on Saturday mornings, so I think this would be a perfect addition to my cookbook.

  • Stuffed Strawberries: An easy and quick after-supper dessert that the whole family can make and enjoy together.

  • Spring Lime Tea Cookies: Citrus and lime are staples of Spring. Pair these delicious sweets with coffee or tea to enjoy at a Sunday brunch with friends!

  • Simple Lemon Herb Chicken: This is a recipe that I am really excited to try out for my family. I love chicken prepared just about anyway that it can be made, but lemon herb chicken sounds like it may become one of my new favorites.

  • Avocado Shrimp Salad: This recipe actually made my mouth water while I was reading it. I mean, shrimp paired with avocado makes for the perfect combination and a guaranteed burst of flavor!

  • Jellybean Bark: Maybe not the most healthy item on the list, but still a deliciously sweet recipe that everyone will want to try out. Plus, I bet you can still find some Easter jelly beans on-sale!

  • Spring Omelet: A recipe that literally has the word “Spring” in the name! This looks so fresh and healthy. This omelet, a cup of coffee, and a gorgeous Spring view= PERFECTION!

  • Yummy Fruit Pizza: The “sauce” of this pizza pie is literally chocolate pudding. How can you go wrong with that?!

This list offers a great mixture of Spring breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals that will make your family happy and keep their bellies full. What did you think of the list? Is there anything you thought looked particularly goode? I really would like to try the Avocado Shrimp Salad and Lemon Herb Chicken, and of course the Yummy Fruit Pizza. What about you?
