Friday night at approximately 6:20, Grayson County Central Dispatch received a complaint of a woman acting suspiciously, as she had been driving in and out of Cave Creek Campground all day.
Special Deputy Sonny Prunty initiated a traffic stop on the woman, 44-year-old Sandra Webb, of Breckinridge County, and requested Deputy Rance Whobrey take over the stop.
Police found that Webb’s driver’s license was suspended, and as Deputies Whobrey and Prunty were waiting for someone to pick up Webb’s vehicle, Dep. Whobrey asked for and was granted consent to search the vehicle. During that search, a bundle of cash ($270) was found in the center console, and six grams of methamphetamine along with marijuana were found in a boot in the backseat. Scales were located in the trunk.
Webb was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
