Howard Wayne Jones, 65, of Roundhill passed away at 4:59 PM Friday Sept. 14, 2018 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Jefferson County native was a welder for L & N and CSX Railroads, an avid UK fan and a member of Pine Knob Baptist Church in Caneyville. He was the son of the late Howard Jones and Margaret Ann Denkhoff Jones.
Funeral will be at 2:00 PM (CDT) Thursday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Threlkel Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-8 PM Tuesday, 9 AM-8 PM Wednesday and after 9 AM Thursday.
Surviving are his wife, Deborah Davis Jones; three sons, Hardie Jones (Amanda) of Roundhill, Terry Jones (Rebecca) of Brownsville and Jimbo Jones (Shannon) of Morgantown; three daughters, Jenny Chavez of Smiths Grove, Lelia Jones (Bobby) of Brownsville and Laura Jones (Dave) of Bowling Green; 16 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
