
On Monday, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance in which a male suspect was holding his girlfriend against her will and sexually assaulting her.
The victim escaped and was picked up by a motorist driving down the road, according to Ohio County Sheriff Tracy Beatty.
Police identified 54-year-old Timothy Willoughby, of Beaver Dam, as the suspect, and obtained a search warrant for his residence. During execution of the warrant, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police located Willoughby inside his home.
He was arrested and charged with kidnapping, first-degree rape, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree sodomy, second-degree assault, and terroristic threatening.
He was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
