2 Hardin Co. residents killed when car strikes semi-truck in LaRue Co.; Trooper Brandon Brooks investigating

Two Hardin County residents were killed when their car crossed into the path of a semi-truck in LaRue County.

Tuesday morning at approximately 11:30, Kentucky State Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Hwy 210 (Campbellsville Road). Kentucky State Police spokesman Scotty Sharp said the preliminary investigation revealed that 29-year-old Joseph Bell, of Radcliff, was traveling east on Hwy 210 in a 2012 Honda Accord when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a semi-truck, being driven by 31-year-old Jose A. Gonzalez-Tigane, of Louisville.

Bell and his passenger, 33-year-old Jeffery Holtzclaw, of Radcliff, were pronounced dead at the scene by the Larue County Coroner’s Office. Gonzalez-Tigane was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation by KSP Trooper/reconstructionist Brandon Brooks.
