Ida Mae Sipes, age 95 of Big Clifty,, KY passed away on December 26, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bruceville, IN., the daughter of Ruben and Tina Rains and was married to William B. Sipes Sr.
She was a housewife, Department Store manager for Stewart’s, member of Moose Club and volunteered for March of Dimes.
Visitation: Tuesday, January 1, 2019, 4:00 to 8:00 PM CST; Wednesday, after 9:00 AM at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Funeral service: Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM CST at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Graveside Service and burial at 1:00 PM CST at Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Patrick Murphy and her lifelong husband William Sipes, SR.; Parents; and one daughter, Patricia Frances Murphy Kirches.
She is survived by her son, William “Bryon” Sipes (Judy); grandchildren: Patrick Yates (Sandy), Brandi Taylor (George), Scott Byrd, Jacqueline Sipes and Adam Sipes; eight great grandchildren.
