A Morgantown woman has been charged in the May 2018 drowning death of her four-year-old son.
Leanna Cantrell, 41, faces a charge of second-degree manslaughter in the death Clark Cantrell after she left her son unsupervised. He died on May 1, 2018, at his home.
Cantrell was indicted by the Butler County Grand Jury last month, and was then arrested by Kentucky State Police and lodged in the Butler County Jail.
Second-degree manslaughter is a class C felony, punishable by five to 10 years in prison.
