Apparent road rage incident leads to stabbing in Elizabethtown

An Elizabethtown woman has been stabbed during an apparent road rage incident.

Friday afternoon at approximately 5:20, the Elizabethtown Police Department responded to a convenience store at the intersection of Cardinal Drive and Westport Road, according to the News Enterprise.

Upon arriving, police found that two female drivers had gotten into a disagreement while driving on the Patriot Parkway, with 33-year-old Kai Waters, of Elizabethtown, stabbing the female victim in the leg when the two drivers stopped at the convenience store.

The victim was transported to University of Louisville Hospital.

Waters was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center.
