A Daviess County man accused of installing a video camera in a family’s bathroom is facing multiple felony charges.

Ryan C. Lloyd, 41, was originally charged with video voyeurism in December 2018, but after further investigation by law enforcement, he now faces 14 counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor (victim under age the of 16, a class B felony), five counts of promoting a sexual performance by a minor (victim under age the age of 18, a class C felony) and three counts of misdemeanor voyeurism.

Police said Lloyd went to a home in the 600 block of Hill Avenue to perform work on a light fixture. Several days after Lloyd completed the work, a woman in the home noticed two small holes by the bathroom wall light. While inspecting the holes, the woman saw something inside, according to the Messenger-Inquirer. Further inspection resulted in the family finding a surveillance camera wired into the light fixture.

Owensboro police reviewed the SD card in the camera and discovered recordings of the home’s occupants, including images of a juvenile with her clothes off, and partially nude images of two adults.

Lloyd is free after posting bond.
