The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is conducting a death investigation after an infant death.
The sheriff’s office said on Tuesday first responders arrived at a residence on Cave Springs Road, about 12 miles south of Greenville, after a one-year-old baby boy was found unresponsive and not breathing.
The child was deceased when emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
The investigation into the death is ongoing and being led by the MCSO.
