A Caneyville woman has been injured after flipping her vehicle on Yeaman Road.
Tuesday night at approximately 11:20, Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Fred Norder and Deputy DJ Newton, the Caneyville Fire Department and EMS responded to the accident in the 4800 block of Yeaman Road.
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found that a Volkswagen Jetta, being driven east by 26-year-old Audrea Kendall, failed to negotiate a curve, leaving the roadway. Kendall overcorrected the Jetta before striking an embankment and road sign, rolling the vehicle onto its top.
The Jetta traveled about 270 feet after Kendall lost control, according to deputies.
Kendall was transported to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
