The names of the two victims killed in a motorcycle accident in Elizabethtown have been released.
Perishing in the motorcycle versus pickup truck collision were 39-year-old Richard Mumford, of Louisville, and his 39-year-old passenger, Heather Abdel-Rahman, of Elizabethtown. Mumford was driving the motorcycle when it collided with a pickup truck in the 1500 block of North Dixie Avenue on Tuesday afternoon at approximately 3:00.
Neither Mumford nor his passenger were wearing a helmet. The driver of the pickup truck, 57-year-old Arthur Dennis, of Vine Grove, was unhurt.
The cause of the wreck remains under investigation by the Elizabethtown Police Department.
