Man-Up Ministry Grayson County will hold their next meeting on Thursday, September 26th at Cross Point Church in Leitchfield. Kyle Blankenship will be the guest speaker. Refreshments start at 6:30 p.m. and worship starts at 7:00 p.m. All men are invited to attend.
Friday, September 27th:
Grayson County Alliance Food Pantry
GCA will have food distribution on Friday, Sept. 27th from 9:00 a.m. – Noon
They will host a Healthy Living Class at 8:00 a.m.

Phyllis Minton Prayer Vigil
There will be a prayer vigil in honor of Phyllis Minton at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leitchfield at 12 noon. The vigil welcomes everyone regardless of religious denomination.

The Knights of Columbus will hold bingo Sunday at 1 at the Knights Hall in Peonia.
Monday, September 30th:
Hay Sampling Program
The Grayson County Extension Office will conduct a hay sampling program on October 7th & 8th that is open to Grayson County residents. The first 25 people signed up will receive FREE samples. There will be a $25 fee for samples for those signed up AFTER the first 25. Deadline to register is Monday, September 30, 2019. County Agent, Whitney Carman, will contact farmers to set up farm visits prior to the program. For more information or to sign up, call the Extension Office at (270) 259-3492.

The Grayson Co. Fiscal Court will meet on Tuesday, October 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the new GC office location, 130 East Market Street.
Twin Lakes Professional Woman’s Organization Meeting
The Twin Lakes Professional Woman’s Organization will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 1st at 5:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Parish Hall. The theme for October’s meeting is civics, learn more about your local government offices.

The Fellowship Cafe offers a free community meal every Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the basement of the Leitchfield United Methodist Church.
Evergreen pass times:
The skate park, basketball courts, and the Taylor Fork Trail is always a free option, and while you’re in the area, the Grayson County Public Library is another free option for all ages to enjoy.
The new playground at James D. Beville Park is now opened. There is a walking path at this park, and a picnic pavilion and restrooms.
The Ronald H. Hudson Fire Station playground and splash pads are free. There is a walking path at this park, and a picnic pavilion and restrooms.
The Ed Nichols Nature Trail in Clarkson is another free option.
Rough River and Nolin Lake’s beaches are still open and free for public use.
