Rev. William “Bill” Haycraft, age 78, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Wednesday, (January 29, 2020) at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born on August 23 1941 in Grayson Co., KY, the son of the late George and Vonnie Ford Haycraft.

He was an ordained United Baptist Minister, a retired construction worker and for the Grayson County Road Department, who enjoyed attending church and hunting and fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Anneta United Baptist Church for 55 years.

He is survived by his wife, Nathel Sanders Haycraft, four sons, William Marcus, (Felicia Gail) of Elizabethtown, KY, Clyde David (Dinah) of Clarkson, KY, Patrick Wayne (Tammill Ann) of Bee Spring KY, and Scotty Alan Haycraft of Leitchfield, eleven grandchildren, Preston, Brett, Harrison, Chasity, Autumn, Kacy, Matthew, Zachary, Andrew, Emily and Alyse, seven great grandchildren, Kinlee, Paxton, Emery, Everly, Jace, Oakley, and Barrett, one brother, Glen Haycraft of Anneta, two sisters, Dee Matthews and Betty Railey both of Louisville, KY and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Rudell Scott and Edith Elzey and six brothers, Carl, Russell, John, Bert, Herman and Ralph.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, (February 1, 2020) at the Anneta United Baptist Church in Anneta. Bros. Randy Meredith, Bobby Joe Meredith and George Maulden will be officiating. Burial will be in the Anneta Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and at the Anneta United  Baptist Church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
