Two women and several animals have been found dead in a Henderson home.

Police said Jennifer Glunt, 61, and Robin Glunt, 55, were found shot to death on Friday at the Jackson Street home they shared, according to multiple media outlets. No forced entry was found and a weapon was discovered at the scene.

The bodies of four dogs and a cat also were found inside the home. Authorities said it wasn’t immediately clear how the animals died.

The Henderson County Coroner’s Office said the shootings could have happened hours to days before the women were discovered. Authorities said they would have a better timeline after the autopsies, which are scheduled for Monday.

A family member told WFIE.com that the women were married and had been a couple since the 90s.

The Henderson Police Department is leading the investigation.
