As Kentucky begins to reopen, and with wearing masks recommended by government and health officials when people venture into newly reopened businesses, a Facebook page Grayson County Health Department Director Josh Embry has mentioned several times at coronavirus (COVID-19) briefings, Grayson County Masks, offers consumers many options related to mask purchases (or in some cases, the masks are free).

The Facebook page, which can be found by clicking here, is comprised of many Grayson County residents who make a wide variety of patterned masks for men, women and children alike. Most of the masks appear to be made of cotton and are washable, and have a variety of filters incorporated into the fabric of the masks.

Prices vary only slightly, in the $4 to $6 range per mask, with one person offering free masks (although the person does accept donations “to help cover supply costs …”).
