BOIL WATER ADVISORY for sections of Leitchfield has been lifted

Leitchfield Utilities has lifted the BOIL WATER ADVISORY issued for several areas of Leitchfield.

The utility said the water samples taken from several locations have been analyzed by the state certified drinking water laboratory and were found to be free of contaminants. The Kentucky Division of Water has approved lifting the advisory.

Affected locations were East Main Street to South Clinton Street; Heyser Drive from East Main Street to East Market Street; 103 South Clinton Street to 115 South Clinton Street; and all of the south side of the Leitchfield Public Square.

Additionally, Watson School Road beginning at Clifftop Drive all the way to Lilac Road, including Marrieta Drive, Redbud Drive and Clifftop Drive.
