A woman has been killed in a crash on Hwy 259 in Bee Spring.
Kentucky State Police said that Monday afternoon at 2:00, troopers were requested by the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a fatal accident in the 10000 block of Hwy 259.
KSP said its initial investigation revealed that 46-year-old Julia E. Broderick, of Louisville, was driving a 2007 Honda Accord south on Hwy 259 when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2012 GMC truck, being driven by 54-year-old Stanley K. Bragg, of Smiths Grove.
Broderick was pronounced dead at the scene by the Edmonson County Coroner’s Office.
Bragg and his passenger, 75-year-old Stanley V. Bragg, were transported to The Medical Center at Bowling Green where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
